About us

Dawson Wedding Musicians is a string ensemble founded by Benjamin Dawson and managed by Bethany Dawson. We provide beautiful string music for all types of special events in Abingdon, Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City, and the rest of the Tri-Cities area, traveling as far north as Bluefield WV, and as far south as Greeneville TN. 

Dawson Wedding Musicians offers solo violin or cello and ensembles such as string trio, string quartet, violin duo and violin/cello duo. The members of Dawson Wedding Musicians have, individually and together, played at weddings, funerals, banquets, fundraisers, dances, graduations, operas and company events. With the experience of hundreds of gigs played between our players, we will make sure the music for your event is a success!

Event Music Fees

Standard Wedding Package Fees

Solo - $250

Duo - $450

Trio - $650

Quartet - $850
 

Half of payment is due up front to ensure reservation in our calendar. The other half is payable two weeks before the event

Travel fee of $25 per vehicle if exceeding a radius of 50 miles. 

Beyond the standard wedding package (30 min. prelude, ceremony & postlude music), the hourly rate for additional music is $75 per player.
